This is just a post to get our random thoughts category opened. I’ve gotta warn you now, this will undoubtedly be nonsense and at times, possibly offensive. It is not that we will ever set out to be offensive you understand, It’s just that there are some real nancy boy, greetin faced, tree hugging, pussy wallers out there in the world that will go to the extremes to find something that they can whine about and feel offended about.
The politically correct world we live in nowadays increasingly leaves me shaking my head at what we are fast becoming – An entire population of people scared to even open their mouths for fear of being jailed. Whatever happened to “sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me”?
The internet is IMO, the last place where free speech is still (for the most part) tolerated however, read the news and some other blogs – It’s just a matter of time before it’s wiped out completely here too. So say your piece now folks.
Monkey magic
Mathematically speaking, the more intellectual of our species might tell you that if you got infinite monkeys and infinite typewriters in an infinite amount of rooms – eventually they would write the entire works of William Shakespeare without a spelling mistake.
What they don’t tell you is…. if you even tried to assemble infinite monkeys in a room, some manky buggers with placards (but, no jobs and even less soap) would soon try to stop you. Crying about the rights of the monkeys and blah blah bloody blah. Hey, they are about to create the entire works of William Shakespeare here!!! Leave us alone! but, no – you’d be stopped!
Here’s the kicker though, they ALLOWED the ACTUAL Shakespeare to do it!!!! Talk about injustice! I say they should have let the monkeys have a bash! School might not have been so boring. Who knows?
Water shortage
Is there anything as important to humans as water? No, not many things anyway right? Well, imagine there was a serious lack of it. Imagine there just wasn’t enough for us all to have some – the first thing we would do is ration it. No?
As history would tell us, we no doubt would go to war to win some water, war in a heartbeat to take someone else’s water. We’d definitely go to war to defend our own water. In some instances, we would give up our own lives to make sure the ones we love got some water. Water would therefore be seen as rare, precious, definitely deserved by some and demanded by all.
Water should be rationed!
Now replace the word water with Free Speech!
